Unshackled Film Studio Artist Tom Zotos “Breaks Out”
with Frank Sinatra at Artexpo® Las Vegas
September 28 thru 30, 2007

Unshackled Studio Artist Tom Zotos, makes his debut with a tribute to Frank Sinatra entitled “Meeting Adjourned…”™ released on a Special Collector’s Edition Lithograph and Limited Edition Giclée at Artexpo® Las Vegas  September 28-30, 2007, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

Zotos captures the irreplaceable void of “The Chairman,” yet his presence is expressed with an old fashioned standing microphone of the big band era, a stool, a hat and a faint cloud of rising smoke illuminated by a single spotlight on a darkened stage. The image is entitled “Meeting Adjourned…”™

Zotos is an unheralded artist behind film studios including Warner Bros., Lucasfilm and The Disney Studios who was inspired by the master Andy Warhol early in his studio career. Warhol was to Marilyn and Campbell’s Soup what Zotos became to rock stars and superheroes such as John Lennon, Mel Blanc, Superman, Batman and Luke Skywalker.

C. Christie Craig, President and Managing Director of C3 Group, joined forces with artist Tom Zotos and will showcase an exhibition of his studio collection of epoch images he created and/or published. These images became the genesis of a pop art phenomenon in the Warner Bros. and Disney Studio Stores as well as numerous retail outlets around the world.

The exhibit will showcase “Speechless…,” the legendary tribute to ”The Man of a Thousand Voices,” Mel Blanc as well as “Walt Disney c. 1928,” “Leo DaMickey,” Bob Kane’s last “Batman” masterpiece, “Superman,” and Zotos’ latest invention: the first in a new series of images from vintage comics and artwork from the 1930s.

“Meeting Adjourned…”™ is of monumental significance to Craig. She explains, “Sinatra’s presence remains an invisible force in my life from the time I was a little girl. When I was a baby my mother would rock me to sleep with Frank Sinatra; his voice was my lullaby. When extreme adversity was knocking on my door, his presence inspired me and propelled me to a place I had never been before. More than two decades later, the image I visualized was materialized and became the critical link to my destiny.”

As fate would have it Zotos and Craig inked a worldwide rights licensing agreement with Frank Sinatra Enterprises to distribute “Meeting Adjourned…”™ With new licensing deals on the horizon, Sinatra is the first in a series of projects-in-development, and industry insiders are watching this unleashed pop culture archaeologist-closely. What's next for Zotos and Craig? Stay tuned for Artexpo Las Vegas September 2007.
